I installed an aftermarket radio and get sound from the tweeters in the pillars but the door spearkers arent playing. I re wired a couplke time and finally soldered the wires and there is still no sound from them I know the tweeters are wired to the door speakers but still no sound from them.

 

Welcome to the forum, might try ohm-ing out the door speakers to make sure they work, or try disconnecting the tweets and see it that makes any difference....

 

Yea, good point as those speakers have to be the same impeadence to match the ouput from the unit . I.E. 8 ohm output, 8 ohm speaker.

 

The thing is that I have heard the speakers play from time to time and i know how to ohm but its funny the tweets and the door speakers are wired together

 

I don't think thats right.
