BTIS solenoid needs to be replaced or wires need to be replaced. I have a 2009 Chevy Impala, 4 door , 3.5 engine. I am currently using a screw driver to press soleniod in by the gear shifter in ordr to get it out of park. Any ideas of makes/models/year of a vehicle that I could use parts from?

Are you sure its getting power when you press on the brake to energize the solenoid? The shift solenoid is permanently grounded. The power to energize it comes from the BCM.
