Default 2009 Impala Parking Brake

PB pedal moves to the floor so I adjusted it. Adjustment is easy by holding open end wrench on the lock nut and turning the adjustment clockwise into the nut. The adjustment rod is located near the rear axel. After the adjustment the pedel was satisfied at about 3/4 movement Further adjustment would bottom the threaded adjusting rod. The Impala LT has 28,000 on it. Seems adjustment should tighten the pedel more. Is there another adjustment at the pad itself?

I don't think you want to tighten it more and you might have it tighter than it should be now. I think it is supposed to go to the floor or nearly so.
