Lightbulb 2014 Impala 2LTZ - P0171 & P0174

Right out of nowhere, the check engine light came on in my 2014 Impala 2LTZ. I scanned it and found it had P0171 - Fuel System Lean Bank 1 & P0174 - Fuel System Lean Bank 2. I broke open the service manual I have, only to find there could be many things that cause these DTCs. I did not want to shoot the parts cannon at it. So I went off to my friendly dealer, (glad I did). They did some checking and found the inlet hose # 20885923 had a crack/tear in it that was allowing un-metered air into the system. I also found it was still covered for me under the extended warranty. I wanted to post this here just in case someone else runs across this problem on their Impala, it could save you some steps.

Stuff happens, and Murphy's Law is always in effect. Glad you found out the issue so soon. Too bad the Impala wont be manufactured in 2020 as everyone wants SUV's.
