2014 Impala - Speaker issue
I recently had no sound in my 2014 Impala. After some research, I decided to check the amplifier and it turned out it was dead. I checked the voltage, I was getting 15v in and 0v out. I replaced the amplifier, and now I am getting 15v, ~7v out to each line, but only my driver side rear door is producing sound. Every other issue I had seemed to be solved with replacing the amplifier. I did verify that I bought the correct amplifier. Any ideas?
This is strictly speculation ,but may help shed some light in the cause(s).
Tell me what you think,
If you are getting something out of one speaker, shouldn't that tell us the amplifier is working?
How do we know the wiring from that point on is not broken /.open unless we check and verify otherwise?
You might need to trace the wiring from the amplifier to each speaker , there may be a break in the wiring. I don't know exactly where the wiring runs , so it has to be physically traced to determine where the signal is cut/lost. Sounds like you can handle the job,but only you know. What do you think?
