Ok so me and the wife purchased a used 2018 Impala with the 4 cylinder. It only has like 39000 miles on it. After the drive home it started to stall while sitting in traffic or stopped for a light. It starts right back up. Runs smooth no misses at idle. No check engine lights. I’m thinking torque converter is locking up. Looking for suggestions.

 

You are aware this vehicle has start stop technology. It shuts off when stopped and starts up again when you take your foot of the brake pedal. It takes a bit to get used to it.

 

Actually no I have never heard of it.

I agree. Only I bought it second hand and no owners manual was available.
