I think you are now seeing the largest Impala with the largest engine you will ever see. You have to remember it is now Government Motors.

New Impala for 2013

It sounds like GM is looking at 2013 for a new Super Epsilon II Impala. The same platform the Cadillac XTS will sit on. From the sounds of it there are many things they can do to this platform....FWD,AWD, V8 and possibly RWD. More to come but I do know it looks good. Check out this site if you wanna know more.

I also googled Super Epsilon II and I came up with about the same thing...2013 Impala.
