Default Need to ask how to remove the lift gate inside panel to install rear camera...

I asked before but it probably got lost on the other things I was asking at the same time. Just want to know if anyone has pulled the inside panel off and what is the safe way to do it.

Thanks.. Gary

I did a complete "how to" some time back when I installed my Kenwood rear camera. Here is a link to the document with pics that I did at that time, hope that helps - http://home.earthlink.net/%7Egenesto...ra_install.doc

sounds like a good write up. basically the lid is held in with clips. There are only two torx screws you need to remove and 2 push clips that you need to remove behind the glass. After that just tug and remove.

Does anyone have a copy of this write up they could email to me?

I'm in the same boat. 2005 Chevy Equinox LT and want to put a rear camera in the system.

Doesn't look like the original server link is active anymore. Here's hoping someone has a copy of it somewhere.

PM or email? Profile says last login was a year ago.

But I'll try email route and hope they enabled the option.
