Default Body Control Module

My 2001 Impalas lights will flicker on and off for no apparent reason. The headlights and all lights on the body are affected at some times. If I turn the headlights on with the headlight switch, they will stay on and not be affected, but the other body and interior lamps will flicker on and off.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I suspect that the Body Control module is the cause, but have not been able to locate the module. Also the Security indication on the dash also comes on often.<o></o>

Am I working in the right direction, and where is the Body Control Module?<o></o>

Default

under the drivers side dash above the ebrake pedal hidden by a black pannel. 2 screws to remove the black pannel and you will see the bcm.
