I just signed up my 2006 LT3, how soon will data collection begin on this model?

That happens to be the only model year alreadyincluded in the main survey. But a few owners dropped out, so it's actually a couple below the minimum. Yours will help.

Other model years from 2002 on can participate in other surveys on the site, just not the main survey.

Updated results for 80+ other models in February. Would like to get the Impala in there, but it's going to take at least a few more participants.

Someone recently quite because too few domestic models are included in the results. I'd personally like to include them all, but can only include a model when I have enough data on it.

For the Impala, too few owners have been participating. So I'm currently only reporting results for most of the Impala's competitors.

This is a good car. So far. I have had no problems with this vehicle. The only time it's been back for service is for oil changes.

Good to know. But I can only use data gathered through the survey process. Still have far more Camrys and Accords signed up than Impalas.

I'm preparing the August results, and the 2006 might just squeak in. It's a single response short of the bare minimum as I type this.

Only people who previously signed up can participate in the current survey. But there will be another set of results in November. Additional participants would ensure that the Impala gets into that set:

The 2006 Impala squeaked in. The result is asterisked, and only visible to members on the site, because the sample size was so small.

That said, the 2006's repair rate appears to be a bit worse than average. With a larger sample size, it might have been average.

With additional participants, we can provide more precise results and cover more model years. For the Honda Accord, the results already include a dozen model years. I'd like to do the same with the Impala.
