Disabling the auto stop feature on 2016 Impala

To all the auto stop haters, I have some bad news. I tried the tip of starting the car, popping the hood, closing it and the auto stop still shut the engine off ... sorry to give a bum tip.

you have to open the hood FIRST, then start the car.
