My son just told me he is now experiencing this exact same issue on our 2011 Chevy Impala. The VIN is: 2G1WC5EM2B1166403.
Is there in fact a recall on this? I googled Impala recalls and I didn't see it.

 

How do I know if my car has been recalled? Twice my service traction service brake system service stabilteck has came on? I only had it a month

How can I receive more information about the recall? I had the same problem last year--replaced the throttle body, the car died a few days later, and then replaced the fuel pump. Now the same thing is happening again--replaced the starter a few days ago and it didn't fix the issue. Thanks!

 

 

I am getting this message displayed on dashboard saying traction control service. It’d be my fourth time going to that Chevrolet dealership for the same issue. They kept trying to fix it but same issue persist. Is it relate to the recall?

 

Replace both cables that go to hubs
thats how I fixed this issue,, no recall!

 

I have a 2008 Chevy Impala SS. My key gets stuck in the ignition and shuts everything down. They said it was something with in the gear shifter a safety and makes it shut down. I paid 650.00 and plus some and it's still doing it. My service stabilitrak light had came on before this. Is there a recall on this.
