Default Fused ignition activated 12V source

I am installing the Holley Electric Choke Kit External Vacuum (45-224) to my Holley Carburator on my 1966 Caprice. Step 14 says to connect the + terminal to a fused ignition activated 12V source. It warms against connecting it to the distributor side of the coil as it will result in unacceptable choke operation and possible engine misfiring and engine damage. Do not connect the choke wire to the coil.
Where do I find a fused ignition activated 12V source in the engine compartment?

Anywhere, but the distributor will fluctuate, and can cause the choke to modulate even when warm. Any source battery+, and ground is fine, as long as the +12 volts is fused, I'd recommend that power source with key on only. Try off the ignition circuit, should be something open to tag on to.
