evening gents
i did a dumb thing swapping motors . i did not mark the heads .
now i cant remember which head goes where ! i know stupid mistake !
only difference in the heads are the bolt holes on the ends .
3 on one end 4 on the other , my memory is telling me the end with 4 goes on firewall side front !
is that correct ?

Check the holes for the alternator bracket. The head that has the correct hole pattern is the firewall head.
Hope that helps.
Years ago, I did the head gaskets on my retired 2005 Impala. The pictures I have do not show the front end of the heads-Sorry.
