I don't have an Impala but I have a 1993 Chevrolet Lumina Sedan with a 3.1 liter engine. didn't know ere else to go so here I am. After driving for a while the car begins to buck and stall out. All the lights in the dash come on and after a short period of time the car will start right up again. Any responses would greatly be appreciated.

 

Are you saying that when it stalls, all of the lights on the dash go out? then after waiting for a while it will start up?
A little more explanation might be helpful, but you should start by checking the battery voltage while the cra is running.
If it is 12V or less, you need an alternator.
