Default Help with my impala

Hey guys so i have a 2007 chevy impala ls and i just bought it a month ago used. I am experiencing some problems with it already. My heat and a/c wont shut off even when the switch is off. When i turn my car off then it cuts off. What could be the problem?

My next issue is that my car is burning way too gas! It wasn't doing this before and i figured it was because my heater is constantly on but my boss (which is a mencanic) said it wasn't! What could be wrong??

You could possibly have a bad switch for the A/C which is stuck in the on position. The A/C running all the time could also be the cause of the bad gas mileage. Work on 1 problem at a time.

Unreal. That's not even quantifiable!

What's your MPG? How many miles are you driving? Are you leaving your car running all day outside?

The a/c would only drop the mileage by 1-2mpg.
I bet you have a flex fuel vehicle. You don't use flex fuel correct? Check the OH sensor reading and reset it if it's more than 10%.
