Default Here is the FIX for impala radio

If you have an Impala radio that works fine but has no sound, then this is what is wrong. There are two orange wires going to the amp in the trunk, if they have no voltage then they have likely corroded off. Open the door on the passengers side rear, you need to pull off the trim and pull back the carpet. You should then see the wire harness, open it up and pull the wires out. Find the two orange wires and follow them forward until you find a splice. This is where the two wires turn into one, this is the problem. Give a little tug and they should pull apart , strip the wires , solder them, and shrink tube them for your best protection.

Hope this works for you, it fixed mine. Good luck!!!
