I recently purchased a used 2009 Chevrolet Impala , I am having problems with the Traction Control light coming on and the engine light as well. when this happens it says to have it serviced as well as the engine power reduced. can you tell me if there has been a recall and if so what can I do about this to get it fixed

This is a sign that something must be replaced. I read in another forum that a guy had this exact problem and he wrote that replaced gas pedal fixed his issue.
