Default Impala 06 tuning question

New to this site I I have a 3.9 liter 06 impala with sport package, Any how can these cars get tuned? Like taking the govener off? and how would I find this info? Thanks Josh

There is no govener on these cars. You have to have the PCM/ECM tuned. Using a Diablo.
You can then take off the DOD and other items

Hey HotSauce, does Diablo make a programmer for our Impalas? My 3.5 liter could benefit from a little tweaking (flat spot at take-off) and Josh's 3.9 would probably fly!!

Thanks Sauce, I'd looked into that option and yes it will do all it says and more. I havd trouble with the cash outlay. Got the laptop, just need to find some local "buddies" to get the cost down.
On another note, I wanted to compliment you on the pics of your Impala. The lighting effects are well thought out and very professional. Keep it up.
