Impala miles, How many do you have? I am sitting at 180K

04 111k had it since 06 & haven't done anything but get the oil changed. About to get the tranny & radiator flushed. Any suggestions or things I should keep my eyes out for that may need replacing in the next year or so? Thanks!

Dont get your transmission flushed. Just change the oil and the transmission filter. It will not remove all the oil since the amount in the converter will not be flushed but for this small amount it will mix with the rest of the oil. Sometime a flush can bring you more problems. for your radiator I would just change the dexcool with new one. Giving a full flush can agravate the problem that the 3.4 engine have with the intake manifold gasket that could start a leak inside the engine if you have not went through this problem. There was a big recall regarding this matter.

Me, again My '03 is almost at 322,000 miles.
- ABS light is on - I found a wiring problem that I'll fix on my next day off.
- radio died so now I use an mp3 player.
- only on my 4th set of tires.
- I replaced the OEM rotors and pads with drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads in December of '09 and have had NO braking issues since. The OEM rotors seemed to warp about once a year.
- I replaced the thermostat (what a bear!) to solve a slight heating problem.
- it's time for the 4th set of plugs and wires
I still get around 32mpg (manually computed - not that little overhead computer) and I'll drive this car until it gives up
