Lights on all the time
My son has a 2002 Impala that the running lights stay on for a long time. Have to disconnect the battery to allow it to start in the morning. Anyone have this happen before??????????
Im wondering if the relay is getting stuck and wont shut off.
you can change settings on the headlights.
thru the radio menu.
when you turn off alarm- the lights stay on......(like at night)
I believe you can choose to leave off, on for x minutes, on for x minutes+ etc...
I wonder if changing the setting the setting to leave off, will turn off lights to stay off once car is turned off.... if its some hiccup that has developed in the system.
what happens if you manually turn the lights on and off (in hopes of getting the relay to unstick)?
or better yet... look in the manual and find the relays for the headlights... then go to them (most likely under the hood) and use a screwdriver to tap the top of the relay- maybe it will unstick the stuf relay...
just throwing ideas out... stuff Id do if I ran into this.
