Default Looking for tip to change LF marker

I came home the other night to see I had the HID headlight out on the right side on my 2014 Impala LTZ. I thought it would be a good idea to give the car a once over and look for any other dead bulbs. I also found the LF marker light out as well. To change the right headlight, it wasn't too bad of a job having to remove the airbox and closeout panel above the radiator. However the left marker light, after working on it close to 2 hours, is still unchanged. The manual says to remove the underhood fusebox, but with that up and out of the way, I still could not get my hand in there to get the bulb out. I even removed the filler neck for the windshield washer and the domed cover on the back of the headlight but those items did not help. in putting the cover back on the left headlight, it slipped and fell behind the front bumper cover just in front of the wheel. I had to unbolt part of the inner fender liner to get in there to remove it.
Anyone have any tips or tricks to allow me to change the marker light? If I remove the front bumper cover, I can take the headlight assembly out, but that is a lot of work to get to that 1 bulb.
