Low Oil Message

I have a 2006 Impala and i keep getting a message telling me " engine oil low add engine oil" My oil level is fine--anyone else had this happen

probably your oil level sensor went bad. sensor is on oil pan. easy to replace.

I agree.
We just had the low oil sensor replaced on our Tahoe.
No idea of where they are made today.
