Question Question about 2013 Chevy Impala radiator cooling fan issue

Noticed 2013 LTZ Impala was not blowing as cool AC air when standing still in a parking lot as it did when driving. Hmm.

Replaced Fan #3 relay because it was pretty scored on the relay contact inside the relay. This was a problem several years ago as the AC cooling fan would not shut off and ran the battery down because it stuck on.

AC not as cold issue went away immediately when standing still when Fan #3 relay was replaced

However, a day later, check engine light came.

p0694 Fan 2 control circuit high

Over the next few days of erasing it to study the symptoms, Sometimes p0692 Fan 1 control circuit high would come on

Fan Relays 1, 2, and 3 replaced with brand new relays . #2 and #3 Fan relays looked clean and fresh on the inside. No scoring. Original #3 Fan Relay was worn. I live in Texas and we use the AC all the time.

Anyways, No more less cool air when standing still. AC working great, but problem not fixed with check engine light still coming on after starting the car and using AC on the 3rd or 4th start up.

Dual fan radiator cooling assembly replaced with brand new 2 fan unit. Maybe the fans were going and bad.

Check engine light will come on still after few starts throwing P0694 despite new fans.

Entire AC system was replaced 1 year ago.

Car never over heats. Temp needle stays right in the mid point as always. Runs fine

Mystified.

New coolant fans. New Relays 1, 2 and 3. Fuses are good (30 amp see through square type).

Coolant sensor malfunction? But wouldn't that cause a very different code to get thrown, in fact usually 2 different codes.

PCM failure is rare. Nothing whacky happening to the rest of the car.

Any input is appreciated.

Default

circuit high code means the circuit is open
find the p0694 diagnostic and it will have tests to perform to find the fault. if you have replace the compents/fan...the fault must be in the wiring, connectors or pcm. Wiring or connectors are more likely than a pcm.
