Radio problems
I have the stock radio and every time I put it on a station i have to turn the volume fully up to hear anything. If i change it up or down by .1 it goes back to normal volume, cd also has normal volume. Its only when I'm on a radio station.
it needs power to function. It gets its power through a fuse located in the interior fuse panel that can be accessed through the door that sits in front of the drivers left knee. This is usually a 15 or 20 amp fuse in position #4. You must replace it with a fuse of the exact same amperage rating. Another common cause for the radio to stop working is the anti theft system that gets triggered when the power is disconnected for a certain amount of time. The head unit will not power back on until a reset code is entered. You can usually get this reset code by calling or visiting Your local Chevy dealership.
