Default Relay/switch that shuts the radio off when you open the door

How can I tap into the power wire/fuse that shuts the radio off after you open the door?

I would like to have my police scanner, Garmin GPS, and XM radio shut off when I open the door just like the radio.

TIA,

Tim K.

Bummer. . . It drives me crazy to manually turn off/on my sirius radio and it drives me crazy when I turn my car off and the sirius radio turns off while the AM/FM stays on playing static.

It may be BCM controlled. in that case you will have to install a relay that will be activated on the open of the door switch.

In the driver kick panel, there is a harness that goes into the drivers door boot. cut it open and you'l find a yellow wire. It will test as R.A.P.(Retained Accessory Power)

This is the wire you are looking for

I honestly don't remember what I did. That was quite some time ago.
