Default RWD Impala/Caprice???

Anyone know anything about the rumored RWD sedan based on the Holden (?) RWD platform? Supposedly it is on deck for 2013 release. Maybe the true Impala SS will live again!

It won't carry the Impala/Caprice badging, but...

I doubt it. If there was a RWD Impala in the works it would be based on the Camaro platform. The thing is that the Buick Lacrosse is new and its a FWD. But the Impala and the Deville are ages old and when they get refreshed they will most likely be on the same platform. I dont want to wait until 2014 but maybe like the Escalade they will skip a model year and release the '14s in January of '13?

That RWD Holden was the Pontiac G8 and GTO which I thought was a nice car but Pontiac was on the way out.
