@mouontainmanjoe

I don't think I know better that is why I am here asking if it came across that way that is not the case, but I have checked everything with my scanner and everything I can see and test physically and it all checks out. and like I said before the Small Evap Leak code has been there since like the 3rd day I had the car I am suspect that it is the charcoal canister or the purge valve which I have dealt with before on other vehicles and know that will not cause the issue I am having. My issue is that the speedometer bounces all over the place on its own when it is not moving and it is either in gear or in neutral and I will also see a message on the cluster saying vehicle limited to 107MPH and then it stalls you can keep it from stalling only if you have it in neutral and just about floor the gas pedal then it will stay running but will spit sputter and pop like crazy and just plain run like garbage. From the research I did to begin with before coming here had shown and lead to The Transmission/Vehicle Output Speed sensor which is just beyond the passenger side CV Axle on top of the transmission, I have changed this part with no change to the issue. I am just asking anyone if there is anyone out there in the forum that may have came across or possibly had this problem before and resolved it what the cause and what repair was done to fix it.

So why didn't you fix it? The engine needs a good vacuum to run properly. Maybe it just finally opened up bad enough to give you issues that you noticed.

The purge valve seals your intake against the EVAP system. If it leaks then you have unexpected air entering the engine.
The valve needs to work properly for your engine to work right. It's that simple. So for the 3rd time .... fix your leak.

This would have been helpful to mention at the beginning. 🤦‍♂️. What does your vehicle speed read with the diagnostic tool?

I just havent got to it yet as I said I am not medicaly well and have alot of appointments plus have family that needs me to get them to medical appointments its just no that easy when you just don't have the time

I am going to but in the mean time this will not cause what is going on with it now and if I can't get it to stay running its not worth putting out money on something I know is not going to fix my current issue.

I believe I did mention this in my first post and I can't measure speed as it won't stay running long enough

Wrong. Like I explained, vacuum leaks definitely can cause stalling.

so if you "know", then why isn't the problem fixed already?
This makes no sense, since vacuum leaks are so easy to check for and might cost you a $5 piece of hose to fix.
You would rather replace the computer which can cost into the thousands.

One of the first things I asked was if you were receiving any trouble codes . You made no mention of the message on your cluster.
What if you unplug the sensor?

Anyway it seems like you're just here to find people to tell you what you want to hear, and not fix anything. Best of luck to you.

You know, if your engine or transmission mounts are worn out or busted, they can cause problems like this. When you shift gears, it can jostle the engine and transmission around, messing up connections or wiring.

OK Believe I have found the issue for anyone else that may have a similar issue with a 4T65E transmission check the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid inside the side cover of the Transmission it can be a pain to get to but not terribly tough. @mountainmanjoe sorry if I came off poorly I only meant that there was no actual vacuum leak to the engine itself that was causing this issue and I didn't want to throw money away on parts to fix an issue that was not causing the main problem just yet. I do thank you though for your help and appreciate your opinion. I have the part on order and fingers, toes, and eyes Crossed this resolves the issue. It is a fairly inexpensive part $20 on amazon would have bought localy but $50 at the auto parts store localy. will report back afterwards the results for anyone who would care to know.

There may still be a vacuum leak to your engine, but I'm glad you solved the stalling.

I'm not sure I would install Amazon cheapies for a critical part like that.
