Hello,

this morning I stared my 2016 impala using the remote start like always, I put the key in and when I turned it the engine cut off and a “theft deterrent” message popped up. I cut the engine off and manually started the car with no issues.

i have since used the remote start 3 times with no issues. Has anyone ran across this before? And if so what might the cause be? The battery and alternator where just replaced less than 3 months ago.
