For the paint, I got mine from epay, it was 12.95 and free shipping, factory GM touch-up bottle. The weather mats I also got on epay, I first went to the chevrolet accessories site, got the GM part number then did a search by price and found the lowest price with shipping.

It depends on being a normal stock item on the dealer on what their market is and how many of a particular item they move. As for waiting a week, they go to different GM distribution centers around here I think it's New Jersey or out near Boston or NY depending on the item.

well the manager used the snow as an excuse but even after 9 business days the paint isnt in, really weird. by monday when i go back for something else hopefully it's all there. and why didnt you ask for all that stuff free during your negotiations. i always get touchup. i'm amazed the dont carry it in stock though. for all new cars id think it would be stock item.

I never thought of asking for touch-up paint when I got the car. While I did get the weather mats, it was the weather mat for the trunk that I was after and got on ebay. BTW - with the 2014 LTZ, does the car itself come with the cargo net in the trunk or is that something that I need to purchase?

i will have to check the car for the net. it definitely wasnt obviously there the times i've been in the trunk but i did not look for it per se. i should take the one out of my SS and use it! dont see why wouldnt work

funny in the catalog LS and LT list it as options but i dont see it on the list under ltz which is funny given the price

The only thing I had in my trunk was the thin, couple-inch-tall netting that stretches horizontally across the front section of the trunk. I assumed it was not the actual cargo net (just some other net I guess), but I'm looking right now at the accessory page on the Chevy site and it appears that it is.

My car ('14 Blue Ray 2LTZ 19" w/ Comfort/Convenience, prem audio, nav) had one in there.

depends on how far you live from a distribution center. It can take up to 5-7 days for parts to reach the local dealership where I am.

i think it's 9 hours to detroit, 2 to NYC, 1 to philly and 3 to DC area. those are all pretty distant, my expectations were pretty high i know. and things like touchup paint are probably so rarely bought at a new car dealer i cannot expect them to keep that in stock . i'm just weird that i wanted it as part of my deal. i'm very demanding. i also expected a 2nd set of keys.

next car i promise not to expect anything.
