Default Tire Monitor System light stays on and message display

2009 Chev Impala-tire monitor system light does not go off even when all the tires are reading correctly. The dash written message appears intermittently. Sometimes comes on or goes off while driving down the road. Is it the main computer?

if the light comes and solid and is not flashing...its a low pressure condition. If the light is flashing/blinking...there is a system problem.

make sure the tires are set 2 psi above the placard pressure. if they are set at the placard reading...cold nightly temps can drop the pressure enough to set the light on until the tire warms up.

make sure the gauge you are using is accurate.
