Default Trac off/service traction system/ABS lights

I've had car to my mechanic 3 times with this issue and he says brakes are fine and to ignore the lights when they come on.
I've stopped by 2 other repair shops to discuss and they basically say the same thing
But I believe there's a problem in that I feel the brakes grab sometimes and car is slow to excelerate from a full stop.
Any help much appreciated!!

What year and is this a car you've owned for a while (history) or new to you?

Did you get the car scanned for any codes? My 2001 Impala needed to have the wiring replaced for the wheel sensors. I got the repair kits from my dealer then cut out the old sections of the harness and then connected up the new ones to replace them. I guess all the movement of the lower control arm gradually weakens then causes the wires for the sensors to break. After replacement, my lights went out.

So has your battery replacement fixed this also?

Or is this still an issue?

Still an issue. I think its getting worse so I'm parking it until I decide where to take it.

Do these cars go into limp mode with reduced power?

Your mechanic pulled the wheels and inspected the caliper pins for movement? Did he re-grease them?

Issued first happened I took to my mechanic. He said there was a sensor issue and he had to buy in an assembly...also put new pads on. It was doing same thing within a day and I've taken it back to him twice. He swears they took all four wheels off and checked...that brakes are fine and just ignore the lights. It is very slow to accelerate at times.
Thanks for your time.
