Water Sound Behind Dash
Hey Guys, I have been having a sloshing/water sound coming from what sounds like behind the dash. I took it to certified service and they couldn't replicate it and said the A/C hose was draining fine. Sure enough when I drove away and went over a speed hump I could hear it once more. Any other ideas on what it could be? Thank you! 2016 Chevy Impala 2LT
My 05 Sub did this when there was some air in the cooling system and you could hear water sloshing in the heater core. Any recent cooling system work or leaks? Have your coolant level checked.
Not that I know of, I bought it 3 months ago. I am taking it back to the service department tomorrow I can have them check. Thanks for the suggestion.
My bet is the heater core. This happens when you get air in the system. I am currently experiencing this in a car I am repairing and it seems that it is pulling air in through a crack in the coolant reservoir. Good luck, I know these cars are known to burn coolant through a head gasket leak. It seems to be a problem in the 3.5l
