Default 01 Tahoe Z71, water being retained and dash/radio lights

1st problem
Hi all, new to the site, been reading and searching (maybe overlooking) but haven't seen anyone else mention a issue I am having. I have a company vehicle and sometimes my truck may sit for a week or so before I drive it again. What happens is I can hear water sloshing around in the front of the dash. (I guess I would call it under the hood where the black cover is) It doesn't seem to drain very well and I assume it is just full of some leaves and/or dirt causing the water to be retained in there somewhere. It only seems to happen when we have very heavy rain, but it may take a week of dry weather before the sound of the water is gone. I have taken the cover off and checked everything but I don't see where the water actually is at.

I'm not getting any water inside the vehicle, loosing any water or smell antifreeze, so I certain that it's not a heater core leaking. I had changed out both of the cabin air filters and cleaned out lots of leaves and other foreign material from it but saw no signs of water there.

If anyone else has had a similar issue I would love to hear a solution for it as it's annoying to listen to the water sloshing every time I go around a corner.

2nd problem

I'm sure this may have been covered before, but I have several lights out in the headlight switch, 4wd switch a/c panel and most of the radio lights. I pulled the radio and took it apart and it appears the lights are soldered to the boards. is there a certain bulb that you can buy to replace these or has anyone tried replacing them with LED's? Not something serious but annoying that they don't work.

Thanks ahead of time for any info or suggestions

It sounds as if you have a clogged drain...locate the drain and used a stiff piece of wire to push the clog through.
