Default will not start fustrated

ok here it goes in all its glory. Have a 2002 impala 4 door 3.4L have had problems at times where vehicle will not start before and after driving. Wait 15 min starts. Was driving and radiator sprung a leak overheat barely stopped fixed put antifreeze in drove home everything was fine. Next morning will not start. Turn the key to run dash lights on turn to start dash goes out and nothing relays click i hear. let key go to run and 2-5 seconds click lights on dash come back on. Battery drained checked it and got a good charge same problem as stated. Next day battery dead of course i took cables off to charge put back on and some good sparks come from battery. HHHHHHHEELLLLLPPPPPP Please.

Are you sure the battery has enough CCA (cold cranking amps)? Are you in a cold climate?

What does a voltmeter say about the battery ? What are your readings? How old is the battery?

How is the condition of the battery cables at the battery and at the other end. Loose connections and corrosion will cause problems similar to yours.
