WTF? TBPS TBS or GPPS
OK hear is the deal. The car went into reduced power mode. Put a new sensor on the throttle body. No good. Went to the dealer and got a throttle position sensor but I cant see that being the problem. Now I am thinking it is the whole gas pedal assembly with its it built in sensor. The car did go into reduced power mode once before but the code went away in a day. this time the car died after a few short trips. The butter fly valve in the throttle body will move fine as the gas pedal is depressed. Can really use some help with this. I need my car to get to work.

get the codes read...it will tell you where the fault lies so you can begin diagnosis....yes, it could be the accellerator position sensor, throttle actuator but it could be the associated wiring, connector or ecm.

Yep, pretty much. Relearn should be not running, key on, for about 20 minutes. I'd suggest disconnect the positive battery cable, let set 10-15 minutes, reconnect with key on, after 20 minutes turn ignition to off, then try that.

No good. When I hooked up the battery I did hear the throttle body cycle a couple of time but no start. I do have a permanent code For the pedal sensor. How can I remove it?
