Default Code 42 EST Problem 1991 R1500

I was messing around with the distributor And unplugged one set of wires out of the back of that ICM and tried to start it and nothing happened so I plugged it back in. I removed the other plug-in on the I CM and tried to start it and then nothing as well. After that it started showing a code 42. Since then I have replaced the Distributor. I ran diagnostics using this that I found on the Internet:

http://www.fieros.de/en/v6help/code42.html

I have 500 ohms when testing the 423 wires

It led me to the ICM witch I replaced and still shows code 42.

I had the test light with the 424 tan/black wire lighting up with the 12v test light.

any ideas?

Was there a problem that caused you to start unplugging these wires? Check these sets of wires to make sure that one of them didn't come loose therefore making a bad connection.
