Default Propane conversion for carbourated 350

ive recently become interested in using propane in my carborated 350 (yeah i know i cant spell it). unfortunately i know nothing about what is needed to convert. im not looking for the partial conversion im willing to run straight propane but want to know what needs to be done to the engine, how it works, ect.. ive seen the full kits but im trying to keep costs low and i'd like to hear thoughts and feedback from others. i've heard its really hard on valves, what other pro's/con's are there?

so nobody has any input huh? oh well, ive found out a little more and the only way to do it without spending big bucks on the kit from gotpropane.org, (seem to run 800-1000 dollars), is to find a old forklift that is propane powered and take its injection components, the vaporizer being a key part(there are about 3 more components). so anybody know where to get used forklift parts in the northwestern part of America? or maybe have some laying around?
