While this model ended its run, it is not uncommon to see them on the road or off, years after production end.

Default what carburator

I currently have a quadrajet 17081200 on my stock 350 its in a 1979 chevy k10. I would like to replace it with a holley but don't even know where to begin. what make/model holley. The motor will stay mostly stock for a couple of years. Im looking to run the truck both on the road and off. I have just had no luck with the quadrajet and want to just start off new and work my way up.

I have heard a lot of good things about the quadrajet but have had nothing but issues and a lot of stripped bolts and is just getting old
