Default 01 Malibu signal clicking!!!

My 2001 Malibu randomly clicks as if the signal or hazard lights were on but they are not. I have read up on many forums that it is the hazard switch that is faulty so I went to the dealer and got a new one. However, that did not fix the problem, if anything the clicking is worse. What else could be causing the problem and how can I fix it?

Relays click. The hazard switch is also the turnsignal relay. It clicks when it is activated. Check other relays for burn marks. It would sound to me as though it's an interior one, but you can check the engine bay board as well.

well thanks everyone. It turns out that it was in the signal switch and if i wiggled it to a certain spot it would stop clicking for a few minutes. So I ordered a new switch, which was expensive, and I'll put it in this week. Hopefully that will fix the problem. Thanks
