I bought an 06 lt v6 a few weeks ago since I got it like once a week I have an issue starting the car once a week. The motor sounds like it tries to start but just doesn't. This issue doesn't happen all the time what could be going on?

If you have the 3.5L V-6, try pushing the gas pedal in a little bit (1/4, 1/2) when trying to start when the engine is hot. That usually works for me.

I have also had this problem with my 06. It only happens when the engine is hot and it was not shut off for very long. Like if I stop and go into the gas station to buy soda.

Same problem here with my 04 LT. It happens when the engine is hot and it also only seems to happen when I'm parked on a hill (nose up or nose down doesn't make a difference).
