no illumination on instrument panel, can't see anything but black, is there a fuse for the dash lights, or is it one of those grey looking contact blocks in the front fuse area? security light is on,how to get to turn off,,,if the fuse is good is there a l.e.d. or bulb in the dash that might have burnt out, how big of a deal is it to tear the dash apart in one of these,can't be too bad can it?

 

I think they are tiny incandecent bulbs. It's hard to imagine all of the bulbs going out at once, though. Check the fuse for instrument panel lights (I/P cluster, HVAC control, ash tray, etc.) in the right I/P fuse block. Upstream of that fuse is the panel dimmer switch, headlamp switch, and then Parking Lamps fuse in the underhood fuse block.

 

Did you try turning the dimmer thumb slide control switch on the dash left of the steering wheel?
