Where or who knows what kind of car a 17" wheel come off of that would bolt onto a 1998 malibu LS?

I'm pretty sure an eclipse and a camry both don't have the right backspacing on wheels, are only 4 lugs, and have the wrong lug spacing.

Why not look at aftermarket wheels instead of factory wheels? More selection and their cheaper than factory wheels depending on where you bought them.

Monte rims might work, but you need to make sure the backspacing, (How far the rim sit inward of the car) is correct. Aftermarket is much easier. If you don't have enough you rims will hit the calipers.
I got a set of rims for my Sonoma from a friend and put a washer on each stud because they were so close to the caliper. But I didn't have to pay for them and they don't give me a problem.
