My car died on driveway. One morning just wont start. I red some articles and I narrowed down to my starter.
Fuel pump runs 2 sec then stops.
All light coming on but it wont turn over. Not even attempt it.
Battery has 12.3V reading so I have juice.
Check engine light stays on, but I cannot read any code.
The engine a salvaged, but rebuild one with about 15k in it. Performs well.


I will change the starter at the morning, since the local AZ has it, but I'm open for opinions what else can be wrong.

Just a follow up. Car runs again. Easy task. 1 of a scale of 10. Basic tools. Ratchet extension and u-joint can be handy.
Only pain is to take the plastic cover off between the crossmember and radiator support.
