I have a '10 Malibu LT, factory radio with a damaged aux jack. First off, has anyone been brave enough to remove the front face of this unit to attempt to resolder/repair the aux jack? Also, if I unplug the unit to take it to my bench to repair, will it need to be recoded/synced to the vehicle? I hear it's 60.00 to reactivate at the dealer!
