The car dose not start this morning although it ran ok yesterday. There was no sound when the ignition was turned to start but all lights on the panel and radio work.

The same problem happened a few weeks ago. An AAA operator told me to put ignition at ACC and switch the gear a few times, and this method worked. Now it happened again and this method fails to work.

 

theft system at fault. put key in ignition, and turn key to the on position. do not try to start!! leave key on for 10 minutes then turn off and start car

 

won't crank ? did you check the battery and battery terminals for corrode ? no cranking could be the starter solenoid not kicking the starter in !
