I just bought a 2002 Chevy Malibu LS about a month ago and I was just wondering if there was any type of routine maintenance i should do. When I asked the dealer about any of the routine maintenance type things performed on the car they said they didn't know anything about maintenance history. It has 68,720 miles on it. Should I change the oil, flush the trans, replace the coolant,and tune it up?

Any input is greatly appreciated.

 

Welcome to the forum. Ignition components should be good for 100k. For the rest, you may want to download the owner's manual at http://content.gmownercenter.yahoo.c...ibu_owners.pdf. Look over the maintenance schedule for severe operating conditions (short trip/city).
