Hello. I currently own a 2002 Chevy Malibu and noticed a few months ago that my engine was overheating and the coolant in my tank was gone. I thought it might have been the radiator after reading some articles online, so I purchased Stop Leak and it seemed to make the leak disappear immediately until today. I came outside to my driveway and there was fluid all over the ground. It looks to be coming from the middle of the car but slight more over towards the driver side. I would like to take it to a mechanic, but when I called they told me it would be $85 to just tell me what the problem is. I was wondering if anyone could give me any ideas of what I could look for or do that would give me a better idea of what the problem may be. The oil also seems to be a little more runny than usual but it did not look milky. Thank you.

 

Sounds like a split hose, do a thorough inspection their first.
