I bought a used 2003 Malibu but didn't get any keyless remotes with it. I think keyless remote was an option for this model. How do I determine if the car has this option?

 

They all come with keyless entry. You will have to have a dealer program it though. You need a tech2 (diag tool/computer) to program remotes.

 

Not all came with it, we own a 2003 malibu new from dealer that did not come with Keyless Entry. It was a part of an upgrade package.

 

check your SPID label. I don't rememebr where it is in your car. check glove box, truck lid, or the bottom side of the spare tire cover. should be a gray sticker with a bunch of 3 digit codes on it.

You are looking for AUO. If you see that code, then there is a factory keyless entry module installed and all you need is remotes
