2003 Malibu

So my car makes a grinding noise whenever I turn my steering wheel to the left, but as soon as I turn it to the right the noise goes away. What would the problem be and how do I fix it?

Look at your steering system, and supension on the drivers side, to see if their is anything that looks funny.
